Matt Deroche – Buddy Rizzo
Matthew is thrilled to be in his first show with Jubilations. After studying as a voice major at the University of Manitoba for four years, he is very excited to try this new experience. He wants to say thank you to all of his friends and family, and his wonderful cast mates. Enjoy the show!
Sharla Chardonnay - Sunny
Sharla is very pleased to be here, in the lovely city of Calgary, performing for you. After joining this amazing cast part way through the Edmonton run. She'd like to extend a big "thank you" for all their patience and help with the extra rehearsals. Enjoy the shoe, I know I do! Lots of love to me Daniel, and my family back home!
Jaimi Reese - Penelope
Jaimi is thrilled to be back in Calgary performing with Jubilations. She was here for the 2009 Fringe Festival, in the Roguespeare production of "Kreskined". She is a graduate of the Grant Mcewan Theatre Arts program and is excited to be putting her schoolin' to good use. Most recently she could be seen in "Salt Water" at the U of A New Works Festival. She also recently self-produced a cabaret with the talented Mr. Evan Westfal. She'd like to thank her friends and family for all their love and support.
Ben McFee - Sandy Olsen
Ben McFee has been acting for over ten years on the stage. Getting paid to do so is a relatively recent phenomenon. He is a former student of University of Lethbridge Fine Arts. His professional career began with a three-month stint with the Rossland "Gold Fever Follies", playing the swindler Doc Connelly. He also appeared in the title role of the first ever non-professional production of Vern Thiessen's Governor General Award winning play, "Einstein's Gift". His play, "A Beautiful Hell" was presented as Part One of a Halloween double feature for Lethbridge's Theatre Xtra Company called Tales of the Damned (which he also produced). He enjoys writing, sword fighting, playing his violin (or anything else with strings he can get his hands on) and meeting people who love art in any form. He is currently working on a new play about the music of Phil Ochs.
Fraz Wiest - Jack Hass
Although he was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and has spent the last 3 years in Toronto pursuing a borderline lucrative career in comedy, Fraz is incredibly proud of his honourary Calgarian status and happy to be back for his 4th show with Jubilations. You may remember him as Chandler in "Best of Friends" or Ray in "Everybody Loves Ray's Mom". Fraz's interests include Batman, heavy metal and pro-wrestling. These and many other factors would explain why he is still single. Have a good time tonight kids. Or else!!!!
Melissa Dorsey – Danielle Zippo
This is Melissa's fourth show on the Calgary Jubilations stage. Some of her most recent work has been at Heritage Park as a character actor and with the Painted Fish Theatre in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. When Melissa's not onstage she is either bringing you food or running the lights and sound from the back of the room. Currently she is taking classes at Company Rogues Actor's Studio with her focus on Film/TV. Dorsey also teaches private Trombone and Bass lessons though Arabesque Music Studios. Melissa would like to send a huge shout out to God, the rest of her supporters (especially her family) and would also like to thank you for coming out to support live theatre; you help people's dreams come true. Enjoy the show! (Check out her website at: melissadorsey.workbooklive.com)
